Please read these terms carefully before using Alametria.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Alametria ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Alametria provides a personal website builder that allows users to create and publish a personal profile website. The Service is offered on a free trial basis for the first 60 days, after which a paid plan is required to keep your site active. All website data is retained for at least 30 days after plan expiry.
3. Account Registration
You must sign in using a supported authentication provider (currently Google). You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our discretion.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) publish false, misleading, or defamatory content; (b) infringe any intellectual property rights; (c) distribute spam, malware, or harmful code; (d) impersonate any person or entity; (e) violate any applicable laws or regulations; or (f) engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service.
5. Payments and Plans
Paid plans are available on a periodic or one-time basis as described on our Pricing page. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. All prices are listed in USD and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which Paddle collects and remits on our behalf. Your plan activates immediately upon successful payment confirmation.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Please refer to our Refund Policy at alametria.com/refund for full details. In summary: we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all new paid plan purchases. Renewals and plan extensions are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. To request a refund, contact us at support@alametria.com within 14 days of purchase.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant Alametria a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Alametria retains all rights to the platform, software, and branding.
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy at alametria.com/privacy. We collect and process personal data as described therein. We comply with applicable data protection laws including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR where applicable.
9. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may suspend or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from service interruptions.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Alametria shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@alametria.com.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 14 days notice of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
